Is the Morrean Split King adjustable base worth it?

At $639.90 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it undercuts most split king power bases, which often run $1,000 or more. You get independent halves, a wireless remote and USB ports. Check the massage and headboard details before buying if those matter to you.

What mattresses fit a split king base?

A split king uses two twin XL mattresses, each about 38 by 80 inches. The base is listed at 35 inches wide per side and 76 inches long, so confirm your mattress dimensions. Mattresses are not included.

Does it need a box spring?

No. The base is designed to support the mattress directly, and the listing says no box spring is required.

How much weight does it hold?

The listing gives a 1,000 lb maximum, with 500 lbs per side. Each half weighs about 82 lbs before mattresses are added.

How high is the frame off the floor?

Floor-to-frame height is 14 inches, which leaves room to store items under the bed. The overall height is listed as 14 inches.

When is the price lowest?

Only two stores list it new, so the spread is narrow. $639.90 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026 is the best new price; watch for holiday mattress-and-base bundles, which often discount the base.
