Our take on the Motorola Moto G Power 5G

The Moto G Power 5G is Motorola's budget phone built around a large 6.7-inch 120 Hz LCD and a two-day battery. It pairs a 50 MP main camera with OIS and an 8 MP ultrawide, and it takes both nano-SIM and eSIM. The best new price is $59.88 at eBay as of November 7, 2026, with 3 stores listing it new — far below what a phone with this battery and screen usually costs.

  • 6.7-inch FHD+ screen at 120 Hz feels smooth

  • Fingerprint reader and barometer on board
Cons
  • No NFC, so no tap-to-pay
  • LCD panel, not OLED; blacks are gray and outdoor brightness is only adequate

  • No stylus support
  • Single power button layout with no extra shortcut key

Questions and answers

Is the Moto G Power 5G worth it at $59.88?
At $59.88 at eBay as of November 7, 2026, it is a low-risk buy for a big-screen phone with two-day battery. Just accept no NFC and a modest ultrawide camera.
Does it support contactless payments?
No. The phone has no NFC, so Google Wallet tap-to-pay will not work.
How long does the battery really last?
Motorola rates it for two-day battery life, and owners report getting through two days of moderate use on a charge.
Can I use an eSIM with it?
Yes. It takes a nano-SIM and also supports eSIM, so you can run a physical line and an eSIM plan together.
Is the screen good outdoors?
It is a 6.7-inch FHD+ LCD at 120 Hz. It gets bright enough for most use, but it is not as readable in direct sun as an OLED phone.
What comes in the box?
Expect the phone, a charger and cable, and a SIM tool. Check the eBay listing for the exact bundle before buying.
Where is the Motorola Moto G Power 5G cheapest?
At eBay, for $109.00, 43% under what the other stores charge, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Motorola Moto G Power 5G?
Rated 4.6 out of 5 from 1,700 ratings.
Where can I buy the Motorola Moto G Power 5G?
5 stores we checked sell it, including eBay, Walmart, Mingle Mobile, YYWireless, vipoutlet.com.
