Is the Moto Play 2026 worth $69.99?

For basic use on Cricket, yes. It is one of the cheapest new 5G phones around, and the 120Hz screen is rare at this price. Expect modest performance and camera quality.

How much storage does it have?

64GB built in. That is tight once apps and photos accumulate, so a microSD card or cloud backup is worth budgeting for.

Will it work on carriers other than Cricket?

It is sold as a Cricket Wireless phone, so it is locked to Cricket until you meet the carrier's unlock requirements. Check those before buying if you plan to switch.

Yes, it has 5G. Actual speeds depend on Cricket's coverage and the bands in your area.

Does it have fast charging?

Yes, it supports fast charging. The charger may not be included, so check the box contents before you buy.

Prepaid phones like this often drop around Black Friday and back-to-school sales. The current best new price is $69.99 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026.
