Does the Moto Tag work with iPhone?

No. It is built for Google's Find My Device network, which is Android-based. iPhone users should look at an Apple AirTag instead.

Can I see where the tag has been?

No. It shows the current location only, with no location history. You cannot review past movements.

How long does the battery last and what does it take?

Motorola rates it at about one year on a CR2032 coin cell. The battery is not rechargeable, but it is user-replaceable and the tag warns you when it runs low.

Do I need to buy a holder?

Yes, for a keychain or bag. The tag itself has no built-in loop, so a separate holder or case is needed to attach it.

Can it survive rain or a drop in a puddle?

It is water repellent and dust resistant, not waterproof. Light rain and splashes are fine, but do not submerge it.

Is $27.50 a good price?

That is the best new price among 7 stores as of November 6, 2026. Compare it with the other listings before buying, since tracker prices move around promotions.
