No. It is water-resistant with a DWR treatment, which sheds light rain and brief showers. It is not seam-sealed or waterproof, so skip it for sustained rain.

Can the fleece liner be worn on its own?

Yes. The microfleece liner zips out and works as a standalone fleece. The shell also wears alone as a light rain layer.

Is it warm enough for winter hiking?
