Is $325 a good price for the Movado Esperanza 0606043?

It is a strong price. Three stores list it new, and $325 at PassTheWatch.com as of November 7, 2026 is below what steel Esperanza models usually sell for at full retail.

Can I swim with this watch?

No. It is rated to 30 meters, which covers splashes and hand washing but not swimming or showering.

Does it have a date window?

No. The dial is minimalist, with Movado's dot at 12 o'clock and no date or numerals.

What movement does it use?

A quartz movement powered by a battery. Expect a battery change every couple of years.

What comes in the box?

The watch ships with its original Movado box, which makes it suitable as a gift.

How does it compare with an automatic dress watch at this price?

You get a slimmer case, sapphire crystal and a recognized brand, but a mechanical movement from a smaller brand offers more horology for the same money.
