Is this motherboard worth buying now?

Only if you already own or can cheaply get a 6th or 7th gen Intel Core CPU. For a new build, a modern socket gives you far better CPU options and support.

Which CPUs fit the MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon?

It uses the LGA 1151 socket for Intel 6th gen (Skylake) and 7th gen (Kaby Lake) Core processors. It does not support 8th gen or newer chips despite the similar socket.

How much RAM can it take?

Four DDR4 slots support up to 64 GB total, with a rated speed of 2400 MHz. Higher-speed kits may run, but 2400 MHz is the listed spec.

Does it have Wi-Fi or Bluetooth?

No. Networking is wired Ethernet only, so you need a Wi-Fi card or USB adapter for wireless.

Retail boxes typically include the board, I/O shield, SATA cables, SLI bridge and manual. Used listings may include only the board, so confirm contents before buying.

As a discontinued board, its price depends on used and clearance stock rather than seasonal sales. Compare current listings against its recent price history before buying.

The MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon is an ATX motherboard for Intel's 6th and 7th generation Core processors on the LGA 1151 socket, built on the Z270 chipset with four DDR4 slots supporting up to 64 GB. It stands out for its carbon-fiber styling, onboard RGB lighting, dual M.2 slots and support for overclocking, aimed at gamers building a mid-range to high-end desktop. It is a 2017-era board, so it only fits older CPUs and is best bought used or on clearance. No current price was provided, so check the latest price against its recent range before buying.
