Our take on the Muumblus 55 inch Pull Out Sofa Bed Convertible Sleeper Loveseat

The Muumblus 55 inch Pull Out Sofa Bed is a compact velvet loveseat that converts into a full-size sleeper, with a metal and solid wood frame rated to 500 lbs. It measures 55 x 38.5 x 30.5 inches and uses high-density foam cushions with a tufted back and square arms. It suits small rooms that need occasional guest sleeping more than daily lounging. Its 3.1 out of 5 rating from 23 ratings is weak, so expect compromises in comfort and build.

Questions and answers

Is the Muumblus pull out sofa bed worth it?
It is a reasonable pick if you need a full-size sleeper in a 55-inch footprint and will use it occasionally. Its 3.1 out of 5 rating suggests comfort and durability are average at best, so try it before relying on it as a main couch.
How big is the bed when pulled out?
The sleeper is full size, and the sofa itself is 55 inches wide, 38.5 inches deep and 30.5 inches tall. Leave clear floor space in front for the pull-out section.
Is the seat comfortable for everyday sitting?
The seat is 17 inches high with 21.5 inches of depth and high-density foam, which runs firm and shallow. It works for short sits but is not a lounging couch.
What is the weight capacity?
The frame is rated to 500 lbs, which is high for a compact loveseat. That rating covers the sofa; check the sleeper's own limits before heavy use.
What is included in the box?
You get the sofa frame, cushions, velvet upholstery and the pull-out sleeper mechanism. Assembly is required; check the listing for the tools included.
When is it cheapest?
Sofa beds like this usually drop during holiday sales and end-of-season clearances. Track the price history on this page and buy when it sits near its recent low.
