Is the Napoleon Rogue 425 worth it?

For a compact three-burner propane grill with a side burner, yes. It offers even heat and solid build quality at a mid-range price, though larger families may want more burners.

How does it compare with the Rogue 425 without the side burner?

The cooking area and burners are the same. The side burner version adds a separate burner for sauces or sides and takes up more width on the cart.

How many people can it cook for?

The three-burner cooking area handles roughly four to six people comfortably. Larger gatherings will need batches or a bigger grill.

Does it come with a propane tank?

No, propane tanks are usually sold separately. You will need a standard 20-pound tank to use it.

When is the best time to buy it?

Grill prices tend to drop at the end of summer and around major holiday sales. The current best price is already near its recent low.

Can it be converted to natural gas?

Napoleon sells conversion kits for some Rogue models, but check that the kit matches this exact model. Running propane through a natural gas setup is not safe.

Our take on the Napoleon Rogue 425 Propane Gas Grill

The Napoleon Rogue 425 is a three-burner propane gas grill with a side burner, built on Napoleon's wave-shaped cooking grids and a sturdy cart. It stands out for even heat, a compact 47.5-inch height, and a side burner that lets you cook sauces or sides outdoors. The latest best price sits near the low end of its recent range, so it is a reasonable time to buy if you want a mid-size propane grill.
