Is the NARWAL S30 worth it?

It is worth it if most of your home is hard flooring and you want vacuuming and mopping in one pass with self-cleaning. If you have significant carpet, a separate vacuum plus a simpler mop costs less.

Does the S30 work on carpet?

No. It is built for hard floors such as wood, tile and vinyl. Use a dry vacuum for rugs and carpet.

How long does the battery really last?

Narwal rates up to 60 minutes, which is the maximum in the lowest-power mode. Expect noticeably less on high suction or with heavy mopping.

The S30 unit, its charging base or dock, a roller brush, a filter and a cleaning solution sample are the typical contents. Check the listing for the exact bundle before ordering.

When is the S30 cheapest?

It has sold around $399 in past promotions, versus $499 at Narwal as of November 3. Black Friday and spring sales are the usual windows for the lowest price.

How does it compare with the Narwal Freo?

The Freo is a robot that maps and cleans on its own; the S30 is a manual stick you steer. Choose the S30 for spot cleaning and stairs, the Freo for hands-off daily upkeep.
