Our take on the Nectar Classic Hybrid King Mattress

The Nectar Classic Hybrid is a 12-inch king mattress that pairs a memory foam comfort layer with an innerspring support core, sold compressed in a box. It is Nectar's lower-priced hybrid, positioned below the Premier Hybrid line. At $749.99 for the king at Fischer Furniture as of November 4, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range, where king pricing has run from about $700 to over $1,000 depending on sales.

Pros
  • King size at $749.99 is a low price for a hybrid
  • Spring core gives more bounce and edge support than all-foam
  • 12-inch profile fits standard sheets and frames
  • Ships compressed in a box, so it is easy to move upstairs
  • Nectar's 365-night trial and lifetime warranty apply
Cons
  • Firmer than Nectar's all-foam Original, which some side sleepers dislike
  • Innersprings can transfer motion more than pure foam
  • No handles, and the cover is not removable
  • King is heavy and awkward to rotate alone

Questions and answers

Is the Nectar Classic Hybrid worth it at $749.99?
For a king hybrid, $749.99 at Fischer Furniture as of November 4, 2026 is a strong price; king hybrids commonly sell for $1,000 or more. It is worth it if you want a firmer, bouncier bed and do not need a plush feel.
How does it compare with the Nectar Original?
The Original is all foam and sleeps softer and quieter. The Classic Hybrid adds springs for more bounce and airflow but feels firmer and transfers more motion.
Is it good for side sleepers?
It is on the firm side for a hybrid, so lighter side sleepers may feel pressure at the shoulders and hips. Heavier side sleepers usually find it supportive enough.
Does it need a box spring?
No. It works on a platform bed, slatted frame or adjustable base. A box spring is optional and mainly adds height.
What is the trial and warranty?
Nectar backs it with a 365-night sleep trial and a lifetime limited warranty. Confirm the terms with the seller, since store policies can differ.
When is it cheapest?
King pricing has ranged from about $700 to over $1,000, with the lowest points around major holiday sales. The current $749.99 is already near the bottom of that range.
Where is the Nectar Classic Hybrid King Mattress cheapest?
At Fischer Furniture, for $749.99, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Nectar Classic Hybrid King Mattress?
