Our take on the Nefoso 8' x 10' Washable Area Rug, Blue & Beige

The Nefoso 8' x 10' Washable Area Rug is a machine-made rectangular rug in a blue and beige modern pattern, built for living rooms and bedrooms. Its main draw is a machine-washable construction with a TPR (thermoplastic rubber) backing that grips the floor, plus a low 0.37 in pile that fits under doors and furniture. At 16 lb for an 8' x 10' size, it is light enough for one person to move and to fit into a large-capacity washer. No current price or price history is available for this rug, so check the live comparison before buying.

Pros
  • Machine washable, which is rare at 8' x 10'

  • Light 16 lb weight makes it easy to move and shake out
  • Modern blue and beige palette suits many room styles
Cons
  • An 8' x 10' rug needs a large-capacity or commercial washer
  • Low pile feels firm, with little cushioning underfoot
  • Machine-made construction and thin backing can crease after washing
  • Only 56 ratings so far, so the track record is thin
  • Indoor only; not for patios or damp rooms

Questions and answers

Is this rug actually machine washable at 8' x 10'?
Yes, it is labeled machine washable, but an 8' x 10' rug needs a large-capacity or commercial machine. Most home washers are too small, so many owners spot-clean or use a laundromat.
Will it slide on hardwood floors?
The TPR backing is designed to grip smooth floors and reduce sliding. On very slick surfaces a thin pad still helps.
How thick is it, and will doors clear it?
Pile height is 0.37 in, which is low enough for most doors and for furniture to sit on top. Expect a firm, flat feel rather than plush cushioning.
Does it work over carpet?
It can go over low-pile carpet, but the TPR backing grips best on hard floors. Over thick carpet it may shift and wrinkle.
What sizes and colors does it come in?
This listing is the 8' x 10' rectangle in blue and beige. Check the brand's other listings for different sizes and colorways.
When is the best time to buy it?
Rug prices often dip during seasonal home sales and major shopping events. Compare the current price against its recent range before buying.
What do buyers say about the Nefoso 8' x 10' Washable Area Rug, Blue & Beige?
