Our take on the Next Move Games Azul Mini

Azul Mini is a travel-sized version of the tile-drafting game Azul, shrunk to a 79 mm-wide box with resin tiles and indented plastic trays that hold pieces in place. It plays 2 to 4 people in about 45 minutes with the same rules as the original, so owners of the full game can mix components. At $19.24 at Zatu Games as of November 5, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range and well under the full-size game.

Same rules as full Azul in a much smaller box
Indented trays keep tiles from sliding during play
Resin tiles feel solid for the size

Compatible with the original game's components

Cons

Small tiles are fiddly for large hands
Trays and boards take up more table space than the box suggests
