Our take on the Nicetravel 8-Piece Hardside Luggage Set, Lightweight Suitcase with TSA Lock & Expandable Travel Tote Bag and Packing Cube

The Nicetravel 8-Piece Hardside Luggage Set is a matching travel bundle built around PP hard-shell spinner suitcases, with an expandable tote bag and packing cube included. The shells are scratch-resistant and relatively light, ranging from about 5.94 to 9.46 lbs depending on size, and each case has a built-in TSA combination lock and four dual spinner wheels. The tote slides over the suitcase handle via a rear trolley sleeve, and the set carries a 2-year warranty. It is a budget-oriented family or multi-trip set rather than a premium one, so expect basic interiors and hardware.

Questions and answers

Is this luggage set worth it?
For the price, it covers the basics: hard shells, TSA locks, spinner wheels and a matching tote. It suits budget shoppers who want a full set rather than one premium case.
How does it compare with a polycarbonate suitcase?
PP is lighter and cheaper but flexes more under pressure than polycarbonate. Polycarbonate costs more and usually has better hardware and interiors.
What sizes and pieces are in the set?
The set is described as 8 pieces including the hardside suitcase, expandable tote and packing cube, but the exact case sizes are not stated in the listing. Confirm the sizes before you buy.
Does the TSA lock work at US airports?
Yes. It is a TSA-approved 3-digit combination lock, so security agents can open it without breaking it. You set and remember your own combination.
What is in the box?
The box contains the hardside suitcase and the expandable travel tote bag. The packing cube is part of the set, so check the listing for the full piece count.
When is it cheapest?
Luggage sets usually drop around back-to-school, Black Friday and end-of-season clearance. Track the price history before buying rather than paying full price.
