Is the Nike Joyride Nova worth buying for a kid?

Yes if you want soft, bouncy cushioning at a closeout price and your child likes the red colorway. It is not a serious running shoe, so skip it for competitive sports.

How does Joyride compare with Nike Air or React foam?

Joyride uses loose TPE beads in pods, which feels squishier and less stable than Air or React. Air and React are more predictable for running and sports.

What size is this shoe?

This listing is a Big Kid size 4, which typically fits kids roughly 8 to 10 years old. Check your child's current sneaker size, since Joyride fits true to size for most.

Does the Joyride Nova need breaking in?

Not much. The knit upper is soft out of the box, though the bead pods may feel firmer for the first few wears.

One pair of Nike Joyride Nova shoes in Team Red/Orbit Black/White. No extra laces or accessories are included.

As a discontinued model, it is cheapest when sellers clear leftover stock, often in end-of-season sales. Watch the price history rather than buying at the first listing you see.
