Our take on the Ninja CREAMi Swirl 13-in-1 Soft Serve Ice Cream Machine

The Ninja CREAMi Swirl is a self-cooling countertop machine that turns frozen bases into soft serve, sorbet, milkshakes and other desserts without pre-freezing a bowl. It runs 13 automatic programs and holds a 1-quart tub, so it suits households that want a scoop or two without a full ice cream maker setup. It is 16 inches wide, which is wide for a countertop appliance. The best new price is $209.99 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, and only 2 stores list it new, so comparison shopping is thin. That price sits near the low end of what this model has sold for recently, making it a reasonable buy if you want the Swirl version now.

Questions and answers

Is the Ninja CREAMi Swirl worth it?
If you want soft serve and mix-ins at home without pre-freezing a bowl, yes. At $209.99 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, it costs more than basic makers but saves the freezer-bowl routine.
How is it different from the original CREAMi?
The Swirl adds a dispensing swirl function that folds in toppings as it serves. Both use pre-frozen pint or tub bases and self-cool to process them.
Do I need to freeze the base first?
Yes. Most recipes call for freezing the mixture in the tub for about 24 hours before processing. The machine churns the frozen block into soft serve rather than freezing liquid from scratch.
How much does it make at once?
The tub holds 1 quart, which is roughly 4 servings. Larger households will need to process batches back to back.
What comes in the box?
Expect the machine, a 1-quart CREAMi tub with lid, and a paddle or processing tool. Extra tubs are sold separately and are useful for keeping bases ready.
When is it cheapest?
Prices for this model have moved with retailer sales. The current $209.99 at eBay as of November 5, 2026 is near its recent low, so waiting is unlikely to help much unless a holiday promotion appears.
Where is the Ninja CREAMi Swirl 13-in-1 Soft Serve Ice Cream Machine cheapest?
