Is the Ninja Foodi 6-in-1 worth it over a separate pressure cooker and air fryer?

If counter space is limited, one appliance that does both is a reasonable trade. A dedicated air fryer still crisps faster, so buy the Foodi mainly for pressure cooking with a crispy finish.

How big is the 8-quart model in practice?

It is large: about 13 inches tall and wide enough for a whole chicken or a two-layer meal. Measure your counter and cabinet clearance before buying.

What comes in the box?

The cooker, a non-stick cooking pot, a stainless steel reversible rack and a recipe guide. The rack is what enables two-layer meals.

Is the pot dishwasher safe?

Yes, the pot and rack are dishwasher safe. The base unit should be wiped clean, not submerged.

Ninja Foodi models tend to drop during Black Friday, Prime Day and back-to-school sales. Check the price history before buying outside those windows.

Our take on the Ninja Foodi 6-in-1 8-Quart Pressure Cooker and Air Fryer

The Ninja Foodi 6-in-1 is a pressure cooker and air fryer in one pot, using Ninja's SmartLid to switch between pressure cooking, air frying, steam crisping and 13 total settings. The 8-quart size and two-layer rack let you cook a main and a side at once. It draws 1460 watts and the pot and accessories are dishwasher safe.
