Our take on the Ninja Single-Serve Specialty Coffee Maker with Frother

The Ninja Single-Serve Specialty Coffee Maker with Frother is a compact single-serve brewer that makes coffee, rich coffeehouse-style drinks, and froths milk in one machine. It brews into a cup or a 56 oz carafe and has a built-in frother for lattes and cappuccinos. Its footprint is narrow at about 5.5 inches wide, so it fits tight counters. The latest best price is $99.99 at Distritech as of October 31, which is also the highest price seen in that window, so there is no discount to chase right now.

Questions and answers

Is the Ninja Single-Serve Specialty Coffee Maker with Frother worth it?
It is worth it if you want espresso-style milk drinks and single cups from one small machine. If you mostly drink plain drip coffee, a basic brewer costs less.
Does it use K-Cups?
It is a single-serve pod brewer, so check the pod type it accepts before buying pods. It also brews into a 56 oz carafe for several cups at once.
How do I clean the frother?
The frother needs rinsing after each milk drink to avoid residue and off flavors. Follow the manual's cleaning steps for the frother and brew path.
How big is it on the counter?
It measures about 13.07 by 5.51 by 13.31 inches, so it is narrow but fairly deep. Check clearance under your cabinets before placing it.
Is $99.99 a good price?
$99.99 at Distritech as of October 31 is the only price recorded in the recent window, so there is no lower recent price to compare against. Watch for a first drop before buying if price matters.
What comes in the box?
Expect the brewer, the frother, and a starter pod or two; carafe and pod quantities vary by listing. Confirm the included accessories with the store before ordering.
Is the Ninja Single-Serve Specialty Coffee Maker with Frother at its lowest price?
The lowest price we've seen is $99.99 at HSN on October 31.
