Is this bundle worth it over the plain console?

If you want a party game at launch, yes. The bundle adds Super Mario Party Jamboree and Jamboree TV on top of the console for less than buying them separately. If you would rather pick Mario Kart World or Donkey Kong Bananza, a Choose Your Game bundle may suit you better.

Is the game a cartridge or a download?

It is a digital download code, not a cartridge. You redeem it on the console, so it is tied to your Nintendo account and cannot be resold.

Do I need Nintendo Switch Online for GameChat?

Yes. GameChat voice chat and screen sharing require a Nintendo Switch Online membership. The C Button works without one, but the chat features do not.

How many players can play Mario Party Jamboree out of the box?

Up to four, but the box includes only two Joy-Con 2 controllers. You need extra Joy-Con 2 or compatible controllers for three or four players.

The Switch 2 console, Joy-Con 2 left and right, dock, AC adapter, USB-C cable, Joy-Con 2 grip, two straps, an Ultra High Speed HDMI cable, and the Jamboree download code.

The best new price is $749.95 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026, with only two stores listing it. Holiday sales and bundle promotions are the usual times for a lower price, so watch the price history.
