Questions and answers

Is this freezer good for a home kitchen?
It can work, but it is a commercial unit with a commercial price. Most homes are better served by a cheaper residential upright or chest freezer.
Does it need to be defrosted manually?
No. It is frost-free, so it defrosts itself and you do not have to scrape ice out of the cabinet.
How cold does it get?
The temperature range is -8°F to 0°F. That is fine for frozen storage but not a deep-freeze setting for long-term storage.
Will it fit under my counter?
It is 35 inches high to the top of the case, 47 inches wide and 29.5 inches deep. Measure your opening and door clearance before buying.
Can I move it easily?
Yes. It ships with heavy-duty casters, so you can roll it out for cleaning or reposition it between stations.
When is the best time to buy it?
Only one new price is listed, $1,999.00 at Home Depot as of November 5, 2026, so there is no recent range to time a purchase against. Watch for commercial appliance sales.
Where is the Norpole 12 Cu. Ft. Commercial Under Counter Upright Freezer cheapest?
At Home Depot, for $1,999.00, as of our latest check.
