Is the VECTIV Fastpack Mid FUTURELIGHT worth it?

For light day hikes and wet-weather walking, yes. It combines waterproofing, a protective toe cap and a cushioned rocker sole at a mid-range price. It is less suited to heavy packs or very technical terrain.

How does it compare with the low-cut VECTIV Fastpack?

The Mid adds ankle coverage and a higher collar for more protection on rough ground. The low version is lighter and cooler for fast trail walks. Both share the FUTURELIGHT upper and VECTIV midsole.

Is it really waterproof?

Yes. The FUTURELIGHT membrane and gusseted tongue are designed to keep water out in rain and wet grass. Breathability is decent but lower than an unlined shoe, so feet can feel warm in summer.

What sizes does it come in?

It is a women's-specific boot sold in women's sizing. North Face women's hiking boots typically run true to size but on the narrower side, so wider feet may want to size up or try before buying.
