Our take on the Northwest Hello Kitty Silk Touch Throw Blanket

This is a 50 by 70 inch polyester throw from Northwest, printed with Hello Kitty artwork and finished with a smooth "silk touch" surface. The size covers a sofa back or the foot of a bed, and the synthetic knit is light enough to drape rather than heavy enough to insulate. At $20.99 at Home Depot as of November 6, 2026, it sits at the low end of what this throw has sold for recently.

Questions and answers

Is this blanket warm enough for winter?
It is a light polyester throw, so it works as a couch layer or a spring and fall cover. For cold bedrooms, pair it with a heavier blanket.
What size is the Hello Kitty throw?
It measures 50 inches wide by 70 inches long, which covers an adult on a sofa or fits a twin bed as a topper.
How should I wash it?
Machine wash cold on gentle and tumble dry low. Hot water and high heat are the usual causes of fading and pilling on printed polyester throws.
Is it official Hello Kitty merchandise?
Yes. Northwest produces licensed character throws, and this one carries the Hello Kitty design under that license.
Is $20.99 a good price?
It is the lowest new price among the three stores listing it as of November 6, 2026, and sits at the low end of its recent range. Licensed throws of this size often sell for $25 to $35.
Is it soft enough for a kid?
The silk-touch finish is smooth rather than fuzzy, and most buyers find it comfortable. It is not a plush or sherpa texture.
Where is the Northwest Hello Kitty Silk Touch Throw Blanket cheapest?
At Mercari, for $19.00, as of our latest check.

7 stores we checked sell it, including Home Depot, Overstock, Walmart, Mercari, Wayfair.
