Questions and answers

Is the Nova Shower Chair with Back tool-free to assemble?
No. The back, legs and seat come as separate parts and need to be put together with basic tools before first use. Plan on a short setup session.
What is the real weight limit?
Specs conflict: one lists 300 lb and another lists 350 lb evenly distributed. Treat 300 lb as the working limit and keep weight centered on the seat.
How tall can the seat go?
The seat adjusts up to 22 inches at the highest setting, which suits taller users or people who have trouble lowering themselves. The back adds about 13 inches above the seat.
Does it fit in a standard shower or tub?
It is about 20 inches wide and 19 inches deep, so it fits most walk-in showers and many tubs. Measure your space first if the shower is narrow.
Will the seat rust or hold water?
The frame is aluminum and the seat is plastic with drainage holes, so it resists rust and sheds water. Wipe the rubber tips dry to keep them grippy.
When is it cheapest?
The best new price was $38.91 at OTC Superstore as of November 6, 2026, with 4 stores selling it new. Compare those stores before buying.
Where is the Nova Shower Chair with Back cheapest?
