Does the Novogratz Brittany futon really sleep two people?

It folds flat into a full-size sleeper, so two can lie down, though the cushion is thin. It works best for occasional guests rather than nightly sleeping.

How does the split back work?

Each half of the back reclines independently, so one side can lie flat while the other stays upright. It has no separate reclining mechanism beyond the back halves.

How long does assembly take?

Most owners report an hour or more, and it is much easier with two people. The frame, legs and back sections all need to be attached.

Is the fabric easy to clean?

The linen-look cover is not treated for stain resistance. Spot clean gently and avoid harsh cleaners, and expect light colors to show marks.

What size room does it suit?

At 81 inches long and 34 inches deep, it fits a studio or small living room. Measure your space first, since it needs clearance to fold flat.
