Is the DJ2GO2 Touch worth it for a beginner?

Yes, if you want a low-cost way to learn Serato DJ Lite. It covers the basics of mixing and cueing, but you will outgrow it once you need EQ and larger jogs.

How is it different from the original DJ2GO2?

The Touch version adds touch-sensitive performance pads for cues, loops and samples. The layout and size are otherwise nearly the same.

Does it need a power adapter?

No. It is USB bus-powered at 5 volts, so a single USB connection to your laptop powers it and carries audio control data.

You get the controller and a Serato DJ Lite license. A USB cable is typically included, but check the listing for the exact bundle.

Can I use it with Serato DJ Pro?

Yes, but Serato DJ Pro is a paid upgrade. The included license is Serato DJ Lite.

It has sold around $79 at Sweetwater as of November 3, near the low end of its recent range. Holiday sales and bundle promotions are the usual times to watch for lower prices.
