Our take on the ODDPC Cordless Electric Scissors with 2 Type Blades

The ODDPC Cordless Electric Scissors are a battery-powered handheld cutter with two interchangeable blade types, aimed at light craft and fabric work. The blades are high manganese steel with a wave cutting edge, and the set ships as a box set with pointed, bent and micro-tip options. At $22.03 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against.

Pros
  • Two blade types cover straight and curved cutting
  • Wave edge helps grip fabric and thin material
  • Cordless design works away from an outlet
  • Pointed, bent and micro-tip options in one box set
  • Low entry price at $22.03
Cons
  • Small 1-inch blades limit cut depth and speed
  • High manganese steel is softer than hardened tool steel and dulls with heavy use
  • Acrylic grip feels less sturdy than rubberized handles
  • Bulk-packaged box set, not a single retail unit
  • Only one store lists a new price, so comparison shopping is limited

Questions and answers

What can these electric scissors cut?
They are built for light material: fabric, felt, cardstock, wrapping paper and thin plastic. The 1-inch blades are not meant for thick cardboard, sheet metal or dense carpet.
What is in the box?
The box set includes the cordless scissors and two blade types, with pointed, bent and micro-tip styles listed. Check the listing for battery and charger inclusion before ordering.
Are the blades replaceable?
The set is sold with two blade types, so spares exist in principle, but confirm that replacement blades are sold separately for this model before relying on it long term.
Is $22.03 a good price?
It is the only new price listed, at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, so there is no recent range to judge it against. Compare against similar cordless scissors before deciding.
Who should skip these?
Anyone cutting thick or abrasive material regularly should use a rotary cutter or a stronger powered cutter. These suit light, occasional craft work.
