Is the OluKai Akeu good for people with flat feet?

The EVA footbed has a molded arch, which most owners find supportive. If you need firm orthotic support, try it on before buying.

Can I wear the Akeu in water?

Yes. The upper is waterproof and the outsole is rubber, so it works at the beach, pool and in the shower. The cotton lining may stay damp longer than the rest.

How does the Akeu fit compared to other OluKai sandals?

It runs in standard US men's sizes with a normal width. OluKai flip flops generally fit true to size, so order your usual shoe size.

Is $80.95 a good price for the Akeu?

It is the best new price among the four stores carrying it as of November 7, 2026. OluKai flip flops rarely drop far below this, so waiting for a big discount may not pay off.

What is the difference between the Akeu and the OluKai Ohana?

Both are water-friendly flip flops with EVA footbeds. The Ohana has a slightly different strap design and is often priced lower, so compare footbed shape if you have worn the Ohana before.

Our take on the OluKai Akeu Flip Flop Sandals

The OluKai Akeu is a men's slip-on flip flop with a cotton and synthetic upper, an EVA midsole and footbed, and a rubber outsole. It is built for everyday wear and water use, with a waterproof construction and a soft nylon toe post. The best new price is $80.95 at Zappos as of November 7, 2026, and four stores carry it new. That sits at the upper end of what OluKai flip flops usually cost, so it is a premium pick rather than a budget one.
