Is the OluKai Kipe'a Malie worth $140?

If you want a slipper that looks presentable and lasts more than a season, the suede and sheepskin build justifies part of the price. For pure indoor use, a cheaper fleece slipper does the same job.

Can I wear these outside?

Yes, for short trips like the mailbox or patio. The suede upper and rubber outsole handle dry ground, but keep them out of wet grass and rain.

How does the sizing run?

OluKai slippers generally run true to size, and the slide design leaves room for a slightly wider foot. If you are between sizes, size up for a roomier fit.

How do I clean the suede and sheepskin?

Brush dry suede with a suede brush and spot clean with a damp cloth. Let the sheepskin air dry and avoid machine washing, which damages both materials.

When is the best time to buy?

Slipper prices tend to dip in late winter and during seasonal sales. The current best new price is $140 at Nordstrom as of November 7, 2026.
