Is $78 a good price for the OluKai Olali Slide?

Yes. $78.00 at Backcountry.com as of November 7, 2026 is at the low end of its recent range, and only two stores list it new, so discounts are limited.

How does the Olali fit compared with other OluKai sandals?

It generally runs true to size, but the leather upper is snug at first. If you are between sizes or have wide feet, consider sizing up.

Do the Olali slides need breaking in?

Yes. The leather upper and leather footbed start stiff and loosen over a week or two of wear. Expect a firmer feel out of the box than foam slides.

Can I wear the Olali in water or at the pool?

It is not a water shoe. The rubber outsole handles wet decks, but the leather upper and footbed absorb water and get slippery, so keep it for dry, casual wear.

What is the difference between the Olali and OluKai's rubber slides?

The Olali uses a leather upper, lining and footbed for a dressier look. OluKai's rubber slides are lighter, fully water-friendly and easier to clean but less polished.

What comes in the box?

One pair of Olali slides. They ship without a dust bag or extra laces, since the slide is a single slip-on piece.

Our take on the OluKai Olali Slide Men's Sandal

The OluKai Olali is a men's slip-on slide with a full-grain leather upper, leather lining and a leather-covered footbed, built on a rubber outsole. It is OluKai's dressier take on the everyday slide, aimed at guys who want something that looks fine off the beach. The best new price is $78.00 at Backcountry.com as of November 7, 2026, with two stores listing it new. That sits at the low end of what this slide has sold for recently, so it is a fair time to buy if the fit works for you.
