Our take on the Olurrisa Heavy-Duty Bike Cargo Trailer with 16" All-Terrain Wheels

The Olurrisa Heavy-Duty Bike Cargo Trailer is a two-wheel cargo trailer that hitches to a bicycle seatpost or rear axle and carries gear in an Oxford fabric bag. It rolls on 16-inch all-terrain wheels and weighs 20.9 lb, so it is light enough to tow empty but built for loads. The brand sells it without a written warranty, which matters for a part that takes road abuse. No current price was provided, so compare it against similar 16-inch two-wheel trailers before buying.

Riders on gravel and rough paths
Pros
  • 16-inch wheels roll over curbs, gravel and potholes better than small trailer wheels
  • 20.9 lb is light for a heavy-duty two-wheel trailer

  • Assembles to 26.77 in tall, low enough to load without lifting high
Cons
  • No written warranty from the brand
  • Oxford fabric bag is not fully waterproof in sustained rain
  • No stated load rating, so max capacity is unclear
  • Hitch hardware and folding frame add setup time
  • No brakes or lights included

Questions and answers

Is the Olurrisa trailer worth it?
It is a reasonable pick if you want a light two-wheel trailer with large 16-inch wheels for errands and touring. The lack of a written warranty is the main risk, so check the return window before relying on it.
What is the maximum load it can carry?
The listing gives weight as 20.9 lb but does not state a maximum cargo load. Ask the seller for the rated capacity before hauling heavy loads.
Will it fit my bike?
Most seatpost and rear-axle hitches fit standard adult bikes. Check your axle type and seatpost diameter against the included hardware before ordering.
Are the 16-inch wheels good for gravel?
Yes. Larger 16-inch all-terrain tires roll over gravel, dirt and curbs better than the 12-inch wheels common on budget trailers.
Is the bag waterproof?
The Oxford fabric resists splashes and light rain but is not fully waterproof. Use a dry bag or liner for electronics and clothing in heavy rain.
When is it cheapest?
Cargo trailers usually dip during off-season winter months and around spring cycling sales. Track the price history here and buy when it falls below its recent range.
