Questions and answers

Is this hex bar good for beginners?
Yes. The neutral grip and centered load make deadlifts easier to learn than with a straight bar. Start light and add plates as your form holds.
Will it fit in a standard power rack?
At 56 inches long and 26 inches wide, it fits inside most full-size racks, but measure your rack's interior width first. Short or compact racks may not clear it.
How much weight can it hold?
The bar is rated for 800 lbs total, including its own 50 lb weight. That covers most home lifters, but heavy powerlifters may want a higher-rated bar.
What plates does it take?
It uses Olympic plates with 2-inch center holes. The two included snap springs hold plates on the sleeves.
What is in the box?
The hex bar and two snap springs. Plates are not included.
When is the price lowest?
The current $125.99 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026 is the lowest of the four new prices we track. Hex bars often drop during Black Friday and January fitness sales.
