Is the ONE-Q a good first turntable?

Yes, if you want to play records with no extra equipment. The built-in speakers and preamp remove the setup work. Buyers who later want better sound will need a separate deck, amp and speakers.

Can I connect it to my own speakers or soundbar?

It has a built-in phono preamp, so a line-level output can feed powered speakers or a soundbar if the deck provides one. Check the output jacks before buying; Bluetooth on this unit is for streaming into the player, not out to other speakers.

What cartridge does it use, and can I replace it?

It ships with an Audio-Technica AT-3600L, a budget moving-magnet cartridge. Replacements and styli are cheap and easy to find, which keeps long-term running costs low.

Does it play 78 RPM records?

No. It offers 33 and 45 RPM only, which covers most LPs and 12-inch singles but not 78s or some 7-inch singles that run at other speeds.

Do the built-in speakers sound good enough?

They are fine for background listening in a small room. They won't match a separate amp and bookshelf speakers for bass depth or stereo imaging.

When is the best time to buy it?

Entry-level all-in-one turntables see the deepest discounts around Black Friday and the December holidays. Check the price history before buying outside those windows.

Our take on the ONE-Q All-in-one Vinyl Record Player with Bluetooth 5.4, HiFi Turntable Built-in Speakers, Phono Preamp, AT-3600L Cartridge, 33/45 RPM, Auto Off

The ONE-Q is an all-in-one turntable with built-in speakers, a phono preamp and Bluetooth 5.4, so it plays records and streams from a phone without extra gear. It uses an Audio-Technica AT-3600L cartridge, a common replaceable moving-magnet design, and runs at 33 and 45 RPM with auto stop. The walnut finish and self-contained setup suit a first turntable or a second system in a small room. It is a convenience-first deck, not an audiophile upgrade path.
