Our take on the Oneida Quirk 12-Piece Dinnerware Set

The Oneida Quirk 12-Piece Dinnerware Set is a porcelain service for four: four dinner plates, four salad plates and four bowls in a white pattern. Porcelain is denser and more chip-resistant than basic stoneware, and the set is dishwasher and microwave safe. At $69.99 at Lenox as of November 3, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent price range across the six stores that stock it new.

  • At $69.99, about $17.50 per place setting
Cons
  • Only four place settings, so larger families need two sets

Questions and answers

Is $69.99 a good price for this set?
Yes. It is the lowest new price among the six stores that carry it and sits at the bottom of its recent range. Waiting is unlikely to save much unless a holiday sale undercuts it.
How does it compare with stoneware sets at the same price?
Porcelain is fired hotter, so it is denser and less likely to chip than most stoneware in this range. Stoneware offers more color and texture options, but the white porcelain here is the safer everyday pick.
Is it dishwasher and microwave safe?
Yes, both. The porcelain handles normal dishwasher cycles and reheating without issue.
What is in the box?
Twelve pieces: four dinner plates, four salad plates and four bowls. No mugs, serving platters or storage pieces are included.
Can I buy extra place settings later?
Oneida sells open-stock pieces for many lines, but availability of individual Quirk pieces varies by store. Buy a second 12-piece set if you need eight settings.
Will the white glaze scratch or stain?
The glaze resists staining from coffee and tomato sauces. Cutlery can leave gray metal marks, which come off with a gentle abrasive cleaner.
Where is the Oneida Quirk 12-Piece Dinnerware Set cheapest?
At Lenox, for $69.99, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Oneida Quirk 12-Piece Dinnerware Set?
