Is the Onn 11 Core Tablet good for kids?

It is a reasonable kids' tablet: cheap, big enough for video and games, and easy to replace. The low-resolution screen matters less for cartoons, but add a case since the plastic body is not rugged.

Is 1280x800 sharp enough on an 11-inch screen?

It is about 137 pixels per inch, which is soft by current standards. Fine for video and reading at arm's length, but small text and photos look less crisp than on a 1080p or 2K panel.

Does 6 GB of RAM make it fast?

6 GB is plenty for a budget tablet and keeps several apps open without reloading. The processor, not the RAM, will be the limit for games and heavy apps.

How does it compare with a Samsung Galaxy Tab A?

The Onn is cheaper and has more RAM at this price. Samsung offers a sharper screen on some models and longer software support, which matters if you keep a tablet for years.

What comes in the box?

Expect the tablet, a charger and a USB cable. Check the listing for the exact charger wattage, since house brands sometimes ship a basic adapter.
