Is a heated vest worth it?

Yes if you spend long stretches in cold air and want warmth without a heavy coat. It is less useful for short trips or for people who run hot.

How long does the battery last?

Expect roughly 3 to 6 hours depending on the heat setting, with high heat draining it fastest. Carrying a spare battery is the usual fix for full-day use.

How should I choose the size?

Order your normal size for layering under a jacket, or size up if you plan to wear it over a sweater. Big and tall options cover larger frames that most heated vests do not.

Remove the battery first, then hand wash or spot clean and air dry. Do not machine wash or tumble dry, because the wiring and connectors can be damaged.

Does it come with the battery and charger?

Yes, the vest is sold with its battery pack and charging cable. Check the listing for the exact battery capacity, since Ororo offers more than one.

Heated apparel discounts most in late winter and around Black Friday. Watch the price history and buy when it drops below its usual mid-season level.

Our take on the Ororo Men's Heated Vest with Battery Pack

The Ororo Men's Heated Vest is a battery-powered layering vest with heating elements built into the chest and back, sold with its own battery pack. It comes in regular, big and tall sizing, which is unusual for heated apparel and helps larger or taller men get a proper fit. The shell mixes flannel, nylon, polyester and mesh panels, so it is meant to be worn under a jacket or over a shirt in cold weather. It is a mid-priced heated vest; check the current best price against its recent range before buying, since heated vests swing widely with seasonal sales.
