Our take on the Orrefors Carat Vase Small

The Orrefors Carat Small is a 7.1-inch clear crystal vase with a cylinder body and an asymmetrical, gemstone-inspired cut that throws light around a room. It suits a few stems of garden flowers or wild greenery rather than a large bouquet. At $70 at Macy's as of November 3, 2026, it sits at the low end of what this vase has sold for recently, and only two stores list it new.

Best forSmall arrangements and single stemsModern and contemporary interiorsGift for a wedding or housewarmingShoppers who want crystal without a full set
Pros
  • Faceted asymmetrical cut gives it presence on a shelf
  • Compact 7.1 x 3.6 inch footprint fits narrow spots
  • Clear crystal works with any color of flower
  • Wipe-clean care, no polishing routine needed
  • Sold as a single piece, so no set to pay for
Cons
  • Small size limits it to short stems and modest bouquets
  • Crystal is heavier and more fragile than glass
  • Only two stores carry it new, so price options are thin
  • Hand washing and careful handling are required
