Our take on the Outdoor String Lights 100ft G40 with App 54 LED Shatterproof Bulb, Black

A 100 ft corded string of 54 shatterproof G40 bulbs with app control, rated for wet outdoor locations. The listing's specs are inconsistent — it lists 1 light, black light bulbs and 6500 K — so confirm the actual bulb count and warm-white color before buying. At $111.98 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026, it is the only new price on record, so there is no recent range to compare it against.

Best forPatios and backyards needing a long 100 ft runHouseholds that want phone-based scheduling and dimmingOutdoor setups exposed to rain
Pros
  • 100 ft covers a large patio or yard on one cord
  • Shatterproof bulbs suit outdoor use
  • Wet-location rating allows exposed installation
  • App control adds timers and dimming
  • G40 globe style is a classic look
Cons
  • Specs list only 1 light and black light bulbs, which conflicts with 54 bulbs
  • 6500 K is a cool white, not the warm glow most string lights give
  • Corded electric means you need an outlet near the run
  • No NRTL safety listing shown
  • Only one store prices it, so there is no price history to judge the deal

Questions and answers

How many bulbs does it actually include?
The name says 54 LED bulbs, but the spec sheet lists 1 light. Confirm the count with the seller before ordering, since a 100 ft run typically needs roughly 50 bulbs.
Is the light warm white or cool white?
The specs list 6500 K, which is cool white and bluer than the warm white most G40 string lights use. Check the product photos or ask the seller if you want a warm glow.
Can it stay outside in the rain?
It is rated for wet locations, so it can be installed outdoors exposed to weather. Keep the plug and any connections off the ground and protected.
Does it need an app to work?
It is app-controlled, but most such sets also have an inline controller or switch. Ask the seller whether it works without the app.
Is $111.98 a good price?
It is the only new price listed, at Walmart as of November 7, 2026, so there is no recent range to compare. Compare against other 100 ft app-controlled G40 sets before deciding.
Where is the Outdoor String Lights 100ft G40 with App 54 LED Shatterproof Bulb, Black cheapest?
At Walmart, for $111.98, as of our latest check.
