Questions and answers

Is the 1280 x 800 screen sharp enough?: At 10.1 inches, 1280 x 800 works out to roughly 149 pixels per inch. Video and casual reading are fine, but small text looks soft next to 1080p or 2K tablets.
How long does the 8,000 mAh battery last?: Expect about a day of mixed browsing and video on a charge, less for gaming or long video calls. Charging speed is not stated.
Does it support a SIM card?: No. It is Wi-Fi only, so there is no cellular data. Tether from a phone if you need internet away from Wi-Fi.
How much storage do I actually get?: It ships with 128GB, but Android and preinstalled apps take a share. Expect roughly 100GB or more free, and check whether a microSD slot is listed before buying.
Is it good for kids?: The large screen and long battery suit kids, and Android has parental controls. A case is worth adding, since budget tablets rarely include one.
When is the price lowest?: Budget tablets like this usually drop during Black Friday and back-to-school sales. Compare the current price against its recent range on the price history chart.
