Is the PAC-MAN Plug & Play worth it?

At $39.99 at Five Little Monkeys as of November 4, 2026, it is a reasonable price for a gift or desk display. Buy it for nostalgia, not for a library of games.

Does it need batteries or a power cable?

It runs on 3 AAA batteries, which are not included, or on USB-C power through the included cable. USB-C power avoids battery drain during long sessions.

The box has the wireless controller with joystick, an HDMI adapter and a USB-C cable. The console itself is built into the arcade-style unit.

Does it work with any TV?

It connects through HDMI, so it works with any TV that has an HDMI input. There is no app or account setup.

How many games are included?

Only PAC-MAN is built in. There is no cartridge slot or store to add more games.

Is it suitable for young kids?

The box lists ages 8 and up. The controls are simple, but the joystick and small parts suit older children better.

Our take on the PAC-MAN Plug & Play

The PAC-MAN Plug & Play is a TV game console styled as a mini arcade unit, with a wireless joystick controller and PAC-MAN built in. It connects over HDMI and runs on 3 AAA batteries or a USB-C power connection, so there is no console or disc to manage. At $39.99 at Five Little Monkeys as of November 4, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range, with 3 stores pricing it new. It is a nostalgia gift more than a serious game system.
