Our take on the Paddletek Honeyfoam TKO-X 16mm Carbon Fiber Pickleball Paddle

The Paddletek Honeyfoam TKO-X is a 16mm carbon fiber pickleball paddle built around a honeycomb foam core, aimed at players who want a plush, forgiving feel with controllable power. Its measured exit velocity of 42.06 MPH and spin rate of 1308.58 RPM put it in the middle of the pack for pop, while the 9.33 in balance point makes it a fairly head-balanced build. At $99.99 at JustPaddles as of November 5, 2026, it sits at the low end of what carbon-faced paddles typically cost.

Best forIntermediate players moving up from a basic paddlePlayers who prefer a soft, dampened feel over a hollow popDoubles players who want control and spin more than raw powerShoppers who want a carbon-faced paddle under $100
Pros
  • 16mm thickness gives a forgiving, stable sweet spot
  • Carbon fiber face helps generate spin on serves and dinks
  • Honeycomb foam core damps vibration and harsh feel
  • Head-balanced at 9.33 in for plow-through on drives
  • $99.99 at JustPaddles as of November 5, 2026 is modest for a carbon-faced paddle
Cons
  • 42.06 MPH exit velocity is not a power paddle's number
  • Heavier swing weight (913.33 oz/sq in) can tire hands at the net
  • Head-balanced build slows hand speed in fast exchanges
  • Only one store prices it new, so price competition is thin

Questions and answers

Is the Paddletek Honeyfoam TKO-X good for beginners?
It is more of an intermediate paddle. The soft 16mm core is forgiving, but the head-balanced swing weight and carbon face reward players who already have consistent mechanics.
How much power does it have?
Measured exit velocity is 42.06 MPH, which is moderate. It suits control and spin play more than a pure power game.
What is the swing weight like?
913.33 oz/sq in with a 9.33 in balance point makes it feel head-heavy. That helps on drives but can slow your hands at the net.
Does the carbon fiber face really add spin?
Measured spin rate is 1308.58 RPM, a solid figure. Owners say the textured carbon face helps on serves and dinks.
Is $99.99 a good price for it?
It is a low price for a carbon-faced, foam-core paddle. JustPaddles listed it at $99.99 as of November 5, 2026, and it is the only store pricing it new.
What is in the box?
The paddle itself. Paddletek does not typically include a cover or edge tape with this line, so budget for a paddle cover if you want one.
Where is the Paddletek Honeyfoam TKO-X 16mm Carbon Fiber Pickleball Paddle cheapest?
At JustPaddles, for $99.99, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Paddletek Honeyfoam TKO-X 16mm Carbon Fiber Pickleball Paddle?
