Our take on the Panini Press Sandwich Maker 1200W

A 1200W countertop panini press and sandwich maker with a 4-slice non-stick grill that opens a full 180 degrees. Temperature is adjustable from 120 to 428°F, and a removable drip tray catches grease. The listing gives a 95.7 sq in cooking area and an 8.7 in surface width, though the spec table also states 1600W, which conflicts with the 1200W name. The best new price is $70.99 at All Novira as of November 4, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no recent range to compare against.

Best forSmall kitchens with limited counter spaceGrilled sandwiches, paninis and quesadillasTwo-sided cooking of burgers, chicken and vegetablesBuyers who want an adjustable dial rather than a fixed heat

Pros

Adjustable heat from 120 to 428°F covers warming through searing
180° opening turns it into a flat grill for eggs and vegetables
Non-stick plates rated for 4 slices
Removable drip tray makes cleanup easier
Floating hinge style press suits thick and thin sandwiches

Cons

Wattage is unclear: the name says 1200W, the spec table says 1600W
No listed plate material, plate-removal or warranty details
Only one store sells it new, so price competition is thin
5 ratings is a very small base for the 5-star score
Two style codes (ABC19, ZJ-521) with no stated difference between them

Questions and answers

Is the 1200W or 1600W figure correct?: The product name and highlights say 1200W, but the spec table lists 1600W. Ask the seller to confirm before buying if wattage matters to you.
What is the difference between ABC19 and ZJ-521?: The listing calls them style options but does not explain the difference. Check the option images or ask the seller before choosing.
Can it cook more than sandwiches?: Yes. The 180° opening lets it lie flat as a grill for eggs, vegetables, burgers and chicken, and the 120 to 428°F dial covers both low and high heat.
Are the plates removable for cleaning?: The listing does not say the plates come off. It does include a removable drip tray, and the plates are non-stick, so wipe them down after the press cools.
Is $70.99 a good price?: Only one store lists it new at $70.99 as of November 4, 2026, so there is no recent range to compare. Comparable 4-slice presses with adjustable heat often sell in the $50 to $90 range.
What comes in the box?: The listing does not itemize the box contents. Confirm the parts and the selected style are present when it arrives.
Where is the Panini Press Sandwich Maker 1200W cheapest?: At All Novira, for $70.99, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Panini Press Sandwich Maker 1200W?: Rated 5 out of 5 from 5 ratings.
Where can I buy the Panini Press Sandwich Maker 1200W?: 3 stores we checked sell it, including All Novira, Varemio, Zipp Mart.
