Our take on the Paproos 59 inch Fireplace TV Stand for TVs up to 65 inch with 23 inch Electric Fireplace

The Paproos is a 59-inch freestanding TV stand in a farmhouse black finish, built for TVs up to 65 inches and 220 lb. It pairs two barn-style swing doors and three compartments with a 23-inch electric fireplace rated at 4,777 BTU and 1,400 W, claimed to heat up to 400 sq ft across 10 heat settings with adjustable flames. It is solid pine and weighs 98 lb assembled, so plan for a two-person build. At $189.98 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it sits at the low end of what a fireplace console typically costs, though only two stores list it new, so comparison shopping is limited.

Questions and answers

Is the Paproos fireplace TV stand worth it?
If you want a farmhouse console and a supplemental heater in one, $189.98 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026 is a low price for the category. Expect to spend an afternoon on assembly and accept a 3.9 out of 5 rating.
Will it hold a 65-inch TV?
Yes. Paproos rates it for TVs up to 65 inches and 220 lb, and the 59-inch top gives a 65-inch set a small margin on each side.
Does the fireplace actually heat a room?
It puts out 4,777 BTU at 1,400 W and Paproos claims coverage up to 400 sq ft. In practice that is supplemental heat for a living room, not a replacement for a furnace.
How hard is assembly?
It ships flat-packed and weighs 98 lb assembled, so budget a couple of hours and a second person. Several owners report long builds and occasional damaged or misaligned parts.
Can I use the flames without heat?
The fireplace has adjustable flames and 10 heat settings, so you can run the flame effect for ambiance without the heater on most units of this type.
