Questions and answers

Is this slab ready to plant straight out of the box?
No. Rockwool slabs should be rinsed and pre-soaked with pH-adjusted nutrient solution before planting, and handled with gloves because of loose fibers.
How many plants fit on one slab?
At 9.5 by 8 inches, it suits one to two plants, typically a single row of cubes or blocks placed on top.
Does it work for drip irrigation?
Yes. The fiber spreads water and lets you refresh EC quickly, which suits drip lines and drain-to-waste or recirculating systems.
Is $11.89 a good price?
It is the best new price among the two stores listing it, at $11.89 at eBay as of November 7, 2026. Compare against shipping, since slabs are bulky.
Can I reuse the slab for another grow?
Not reliably. Root debris and salt buildup make reuse risky, so most growers replace slabs each cycle.
Where is the Pargro Slab Rockwool Grow Slab cheapest?
At Custom Hydro, for $40.60, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Pargro Slab Rockwool Grow Slab?
9 stores we checked sell it, including Custom Hydro, eBay, Cannavista, Evolve Garden Supply, Florida Garden Supplies.
