Our take on the Petbobi Interactive Toy Dog Ball Active Rolling Ball with Flashing LED Light

The Petbobi Interactive Toy Dog Ball is a 3.54-inch hard plastic ball that rolls on its own and flashes LED lights to trigger chasing and pouncing. It has no sound, so it suits dogs that are spooked by noise but still need motion to engage. It is sized for medium and large dogs and meant for supervised play. At 3.3 out of 5 from 159 ratings, reception is mixed, so expect a fun toy for some dogs and a short-lived one for others.

  • Hard plastic shell is simple to wipe clean
Cons

Questions and answers

Is the Petbobi LED ball worth it?
It is worth it if your dog already chases rolling toys and you will supervise play. If your dog is a heavy chewer, the hard plastic shell is likely to fail.
Will it survive a dog that chews?
No. It is a play ball, not a chew toy, and the plastic can crack under sustained chewing. Put it away when play ends.
Does it work on carpet?
It rolls best on hard floors. On thick carpet the motor struggles, so the ball moves less and dogs may lose interest.
Does it make any sound?
No. The Petbobi ball has no sound feature; it relies on rolling motion and flashing LED light only.
What size dogs is it for?
It is listed for medium and large dogs. At 3.54 inches it is too big for most small breeds and toy dogs.
What is in the box?
The ball itself. Check the listing for whether a charging cable is included, since battery setup varies by seller.
