Is the Petsfit two-story cat house worth it at $90.79?

At $90.79 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is a reasonable price for a two-level wooden shelter. You will likely spend a little more on sealant or a heating pad to make it last and stay warm.

Is it warm enough for winter?

The wood and raised floor help, but there is no insulation or door flap. Add straw or a heated pad rated for outdoor use if temperatures drop below freezing.

How big is it, and will a large cat fit?

It stands 29 inches high with two levels, which suits average cats. Very large cats may find the openings and upper level tight.

Does it need assembly?

Yes, it ships flat and needs to be put together. Budget an hour and have a screwdriver and caulk on hand for the seams.

What is not included?

No cushion, door flap or heater comes with it. Plan on bedding and, in cold climates, a outdoor-rated heating pad.

Outdoor cat houses tend to drop in late summer and early fall before winter demand. The current $90.79 at Walmart is already near the low end for this size.
