Is the Philips Airfryer 5000 Series XL worth it?

It is a solid pick if you want a large single basket with app control. If you often cook two foods at once, a dual-basket model like the Philips XXL range suits better.

How does it compare with the Philips XXL?

The XXL has a larger basket and, on some models, two baskets. The 5000 Series XL is smaller, lighter and usually cheaper, but cooks one batch at a time.

Can I put the basket in the dishwasher?

Yes. The removable non-stick basket and parts are dishwasher safe. Hand washing keeps the coating in better shape over time.

What is the maximum temperature?

It reaches 200°C, the standard top end for air fryers. The minimum is 60°C, useful for dehydrating and keeping food warm.

What comes in the box?

The air fryer unit, a removable non-stick basket and a quick-start guide. Check the listing for any included accessories such as a grill pan.

Air fryers usually drop during Black Friday and end-of-summer sales. Track the price history before buying.
