Is the Philips Airfryer XXL worth it?

If you cook for a family and want a big basket with a fat-draining tray, yes. For one or two people, a smaller and cheaper model makes more sense.

How does it compare with the previous XXL model?

This HD9860/99 adds the digital touch display and Fat Removal Technology over older XXL versions. Cooking capacity and power are broadly the same.

What can I fit in the 3 lb basket?

Roughly a whole small chicken, a bag of frozen fries for four, or a batch of wings. It is one of the larger baskets in this class.

Does it need special voltage?

It runs on 120 V and draws 1,725 W, so use a standard US outlet and avoid sharing the circuit with other high-draw appliances.

The fryer, the QuickClean basket and a fat-reducing tray. Check the listing for any recipe booklet included.

Air fryers usually drop around Black Friday and holiday sales. The current $159 at Distritech as of November 3 is a reasonable level to compare against.
