Is the 6400 worth it over a cheaper Sonicare?

The 6400 adds a pressure sensor, three intensity levels and app guidance over entry models. If you mainly want a basic sonic clean, a lower series covers that; if you want gum protection and mode choice, the 6400 earns the step up.

How long does the battery last?

Philips rates it at up to 21 days of regular brushing per charge. Heavy use of White mode and high intensity will drain it faster.

What comes in the box?

One 6400 handle, one S2 Sensitive brush head, a travel case and a USB-A charging stand. No wall power adapter is included.

Does it work with other Sonicare brush heads?

Yes. It uses the standard Sonicare click-on heads, so you can fit other Sonicare replacement heads besides the S2 Sensitive.

Is it good for sensitive gums?

Yes. Sensitive mode plus the pressure sensor are aimed at that. Start on the lowest intensity and let the sensor train your pressure.
