Our take on the Phoenix Gravity AISI 304 Stainless Steel Gravity-Fed Water Filter System

The Phoenix Gravity is a non-electric countertop water filter built from AISI 304 stainless steel, with a 2.25-gallon upper tank and a stainless spigot. It runs on gravity alone, so it needs no plumbing or power, and it dispenses at up to 2 gallons per hour. A pair of carbon filter elements is rated for up to 5,500 gallons. The best new price is $228.00 at Phoenix Gravity Water Filters as of November 6, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no cheaper new price to compare against.

Questions and answers

Is the Phoenix Gravity worth it over a pitcher filter?
It holds 2.25 gallons and filters up to 5,500 gallons per filter pair, far more than a pitcher. You pay more upfront for the stainless body, but you refill and replace filters less often.
Does it need a plumber or power?
No. It is gravity fed and non-electric, so it sits on the counter and needs no plumbing, wiring or specialist tools.
How fast does it dispense water?
Up to 2 gallons per hour through the stainless spigot. That is slower than a faucet, so fill bottles ahead of time.
How often do I change the filters?
A pair of carbon elements is rated for up to 5,500 gallons, which covers a family for many months depending on daily use.
What are its dimensions?
It stands 23.2 inches tall. Measure your counter and clearance under cabinets before buying.
Is $228 a good price?
It is the only new price listed, $228.00 at Phoenix Gravity Water Filters as of November 6, 2026, so there is no lower new price to compare it with.
