Is linen bedding worth the price?

Linen breathes better than cotton and lasts for years with proper care, which is where the cost goes. If you sleep hot or want a relaxed, rumpled look, it earns its price. If you want crisp, smooth sheets, stick with cotton.

Does the fitted sheet fit a deep mattress?

Yes. The deep pocket fits mattresses up to 16 inches deep, which covers most pillow-top and mattress-topper setups.

How do I wash and dry it?

Machine wash cool and air dry; do not bleach. Skip the tumble dryer, since heat shrinks and weakens linen. Expect wrinkles, which are part of the look.

Is it a full bedding set?

No. Each piece is sold separately, so check that you are buying the duvet cover, sheet and pillowcases you need.

Is it certified safe for sensitive skin?

It carries OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification, meaning it is tested free of harmful substances. That helps if you have sensitive skin or allergies.

When is the best time to buy?

Piglet in Bed discounts linen around seasonal sales and bank holiday events. Check the price history on this page to see whether the current price is near its low.

Our take on the Piglet in Bed Sandstone Red Pembroke Stripe 100% Linen bedding

Piglet in Bed's Pembroke Stripe bedding is 100% linen in a sandstone red stripe, sold as individual pieces rather than a set. The linen is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified and stonewashed for a soft, lived-in feel from the first wash. The fitted sheet has deep pockets that fit mattresses up to 16 inches. Linen bedding at this brand typically runs well above cotton, so compare the current price against its recent range before buying.
